Several years into my engineering career, after working with large corporations, I realized that entrepreneurship was right for me.
But I had no pathway, training or mentorship to help me get there.

I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey ALONE...
It was boldest decision I ever made in my life. The first several years were quite ugly.
- I couldn't get product-market fit.
- I was burning through my savings.
- I lost my house and marriage.
But then I got help....

One highlight as an entrepreneur was having my invention become a consumer product in 2009, generating 8 figures in sales revenue.

And it’s still selling today!

But more importantly, during the process, I got experience shadowing a highly successful engineer entrepreneur.  And experientially learning the ropes: micro-lessons that would serve me well on my journey as an entrepreneur...  These micro-lessons are not covered in ANY entrepreneurship training or MBA programs.

But they are lessons that I could teach others.  I realized my new mission:

Throughout my engineering career, I’d been passed over for opportunities by managers, not because of my ability to do good work or get along with colleagues, but because of my ADHD traits. On one hand, I got the luck of the draw: brilliance, creativity, sociability, drive, interest! On the other hand, they saw: impulsivity, lack of commitment, smart-mouth, lack of focus. And thus, I had built a career compensating for my flaws, a career focused on powering through drudgery so other engineers wouldn’t have to.

In 2022, there were big scares and life changes to those around me, it was as if the universe was trying to send me a message: Stop Wasting Time Trying To Be Someone You Are Not!

I’ve since been on a mission: A mission to help others reach their full creative potential. Since 2023 I patented new AI technology, created a non-hallucinatory AI therapist, built a focus app, launched them both as SaaS, wrote a book, and started a podcast.

I’ve reformed my dysfunction into a strength, and my compensations into a superpower. I’ve learned to wield both my light (sheer creative passion) and my dark side (operational organization hyperdrive).

When Richard asked me to partner with him and lend my operational and creative passion to the creation of MicroPodGlobal, I immediately recognized the similarity between our goals: the superhuman engineer-entrepreneur is an engineer reaching his full creative potential.
